When I try copying a folder from one drive to another, the window just exits in the middle. What can be done to prevent this?

    Try to do this.
Dont copy the folder instead copy the contents of the folder by pressing
Ctrl + A keys and got to the destination folder and paste.
    Or
try to restore your system to the previous know restore point which you know it was working fine.
    Just restore it .

friend as you are mentioning the problem that your windows exit while copying. In my point of view your system are infected by the virus. becuase if there is any problem like permission related then windows promted a error message " permission denied". But it quits in middle so there is big possibility that your system infected by the virus. To remove out the virus you can restore your system from a healty date. to restore the system open all program--> acessorries--> System tools--> choose restore option . Here select a restore point when your system was working well and restore the system. Hope your problem will be fixed. and you should also install any anti virus program to protect your system.

    Dear Friend,

So your windows exits when you are trying to copy your data from one drive to another.
First of check if the data you are trying to copy is corrupted or not.
This might be one of the reason.
Next check your drives for the bad sectors and also the errors.
You can do this by right clicking on the drive and selecting properties.
From there you can check for the bad sectors and the errors if any.
Next restart your system and then again try to copy the same data.

Re: Folder copying issues in Acer laptop with Windows

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say..........

The file which wanted to copy may be the system file. So your
system is not allowing to copy that file.

Or the file may not have the permissions to copy or paste it any
where so such files cannot be moved any where. As they are not
    permitted.

Try to check that the file you want to copy may be corrupted.

or try to check that your system may be affected by any virus. So
it is better to install a antivirus software and scan your computer.
And clean or delete the files affected by virus.

I hope it will help you.

    Have a nice day.........
