    Hi..

First Run Disk clean up in your system..

For That Right click click on your C drive...

    Choose Properties...

    Click on disk clean up..

    Do the all drivers same..

Now your system disks are cleaned.. means temporary files are deleted..

    Now you can check...

    Folder will open quickly..

Run System scan with Good antivirus..

    Thank you.

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say...........................

1.As it was the 40 GB folder it will be slow only.

2.But of you it is much slower than it has to be.

3.then this can be the problem of the virus.

4.So you install the best antivirus software and then use it.

5.If that is not your problem then any of the game has the corrupted files that creating the problem.

6.So you try to remove the game which are high definition and which stucks randomly.

    Have a nice day...............................

Re: Folder takes long time to open in Windows XP

    Dear Friend

First thing you must see is the Availability of space on My Computer and it will give you the Complete properties about the rest of space

Then Clear out the Cache by cleaning the Registry

If the Problem remains there then you can follow the below steps

<> For this you can go to click on the " Start " menu

<> There you will find a " My Computer "

<> After that you can go to click on " Properties "

<> Then you can choose to select the " Advanced Tab "

<> Go to click on " settings " there and then you can check for a option called " Use Common tasks in default "

<> Finally click on "OK " to make save changes

    That is all

    Good luck
