    Hello friend...

Yes, Foobar player does not support the .mp4 file so you need to download the codec file of .mp4. after download and install the codec file you can run the .mp4 file..

click to here download the codec and foobar player.

Re: Foobar Player in Windows Vista System does not support ‘.mp4’ files

    Hi,

Media Players like FOOBAR are programmed for certain class of entertainment but they are not built to run all programs or play every format of media files.

But there are options available within their programming parameters which will allow the user to play those files or format which is not commonly supported by the Media Player.

To do so you need to install a small program called "CODEC" which can be downloaded from the internet and installed in your FOOBAR PLAYER, only then the player can identify, recognize and interpret the .MP4 format.

So log into internet , a google search can offer you thousands of codecs, download , install and you are off.

    Thanks.
