Forgot password for locked folders on windows desktop

I have set up a password lock to windows desktop folders on my system last month. But unfortunately the password could not be remembered now. How can I tackle this situation?

To unlock see the contents of your drive by using "cmd" from command prompt and check the current names of your locked folder.
The names will be in special symbols.Note those symbols and write those special sysmbols exactly . If all the symbols are found,
Type "cd and those symbols in order" to move to that folder or rename it .

    Another way is,
Try to boot using "safe mode", if this doesnt work then use "linux distro live cd" and boot the pc using it and then you will be able to access those locked files.
    Or the third process,
Edit registry by typing "regedit" from the command prompt after clicking Start .
Once the editor screen is evoked, then delete this string value:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > FolderLock6 > LastLockerPath
    Save and Exit.

    Thanks

    hello,

dont worry friend, this isnt big deal.
    just follow below steps:-

    >>run your Operating system in safe mode.

    >>Start folder lock.it will run without asking any password.

    >>Then set new password or uninstall folder lock.
    after this,restart your operating sytem.
    thats it
