Yes, this is the problem with many games that can run in Windows Xp but not in Windows 7.
If you want to run those games, you will have to install Windows Xp again. Changing compatibility can run some games but not all.

If the program is not compatible, then you may to try install and run program in compatibility mode.
    Use the following steps:
1 Right click on the program
    2 click on properties
3 Click on comp ability tab
4 Select run this program in comp ability mode and select windows 7 or whatever operating system the program was running successfully.
Refer to the link here:make older programs run in this version of windows.

If you run windows 7 professional or ultimate version, install windows virtual PC and windows xp mode and execute your software in windows XP.http://www.microsoft.com/windows/vir...c/default.aspx

reinstall the Games in the new windows 7.
If you cannot reinstall then download the games from the internet.
they must have updated the files.
Or install windows xp inside your windows 7 this will solve the problem.

    hi,

i think there is a problem with your graphics card,

it should be 256MB to play games in windows 7 because,

the windows7 will take the 128mb of graphics.............so you cant play games with that,

so purchase the higher graphics card or change your os to windowsxp.

    then you can play easily.

    Hello,

The games are designed t be compatible with the OS.

There may be a chance that the games which were designed for windows XP are not designed to be compatible with windows 7.

So the games which you could have played easily in windows XP may not be able to run on windows 7.

Hence they dont run on them.

But you can play there exciting games which are compatible with windows 7.

They have better graphics and better gameplay .

    You will enjoy them
    .

    -Regards

the solution to the problem is very simple dear.

see, as you have mentioned that you have installed windows 7 Ultimate over windows XP.
that means at the moment your PC has got two windows.
Windows XP which is installed in C drive.
and windows 7 which is installed in D drive.

you need to re-boot your PC and at the boot it will ask you to select a boot drive-
"Earlier version of Windows". OR "Windows 7".

    Enter on Windows 7.
te windows 7 will be booted.
now ou need to again install the games that you have already installed in windows XP.
and after installing you can play the same games here as well.
and yes , before installing the game make sure that you install the video driver , audio driver and the land driver of your PC in windows 7 as well.
as some games need special requirements to run.

    good luck

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say.............................

1.This can be the problem of the display.

2.many of the games ill do not work with the the 32 bit OS of the Windows 7.

2.If you are using 64 bit still if you have the problem.

4.Then the files of that games may be delete when you have updated the OS.

5.So you try to uninstall those games and then install them again.

I hope by doing as i said you can solve your problem.

    Have a nice day...........................
