Getting ‘unhandled’ error while changing desktop color in Windows 8

I have changed the color of desktop background on my PC upgraded to Windows 8 few days ago. Since then, I keep getting “unhandled error - arithmetic overflow” on my system. Is there any way to fix this error?

At first, make a single press on Windows key +X on the keyboard. You can then view quick access menu on the screen. Scroll through that menu and find out ‘Command prompt (Admin0’ option. Click on that option for bringing up elevated command prompt. Then, you need to type sfc/scannow into that command prompt. Press the ‘Enter’ key afterwards and wait until the scan process get completed. After that, restart the system and see whether the issue gets resolved or not.
