Getting “MessagingApp.exe has stopped working” error on Windows Vista

Whenever I try to turn on my laptop upgraded to Windows Vista, I keep getting “MessagingApp.exe has stopped working” error on the screen. I went into ‘All Programs’ and found all Yahoo and Windows program turned red color. What could be the reason for that?

    You may try :-

    1. put the computer in a clean boot state to see if the same message occurs
A clean boot helps in eliminating software conflicts.

    HOW TO PERFORM CLEANBOOT

    1. Log on to the computer by using an account that has administrator rights.
    2. Click Start
    3. Type msconfig.exe in the Start Search box, and then press Enter to start the System Configuration utility.
    4. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, fill it
    5. On the General tab, click the Selective startup option, and then click to clear the Load startup items check box
    6. On the Services tab, click to select the Hide all Microsoft services check box
    7. click Disable all.

    2. make sure that you have the latest update for the antivirus software installed on your machine, so that it works properly.
