Getting “RunTime” error after starting up PC running on Windows XP

Every time I start up my PC running Windows XP, an error message saying “runs time error, your computer wants to close down in an unusual way” keep showing up on the screen. If I click that message, it will disappear for a short time and then come up again on the same place. Is there any way available to remove this error message?

Once you get into the desktop, locate the ‘My Computer’ icon. Right click on that icon afterwards and wait until a menu pop up on the screen. Then, click the ‘Properties’ option located at the bottom part of that menu. You can then find ‘Properties’ window on the screen from which press the ‘Advanced’ tab. After that, get into the ‘Performance’ section and find out ‘Page file’ label. There is a change button under that label. Hit that button and make sure that the C drive is already set to ‘let system manage’. The next step required is to click the ‘Set 2X’ option. Quit all the windows afterwards and restart your system.

    Ho.
    Follow the below steps:
    >>Turn On PC as normal
    >>Wait for prompt error to show up
    >>When it appears, Run Task Manager (here you can see the task running the Error Prompt)
    >>Right Click on the task and Choose > Go To Process (will take you to processes Tab)
    >>See the highlighted Process, Right Click and Choose Open File Location
    >>Windows Explorer will appear and you can see the Application Folder (name of application)
    >>Open Uninstall Programs > Search for Application Name > Uninstall
    >>Restart PC

    Thank you.

Was it working fine before? If so, do you remember making any recent changes to the computer prior to this issue?
    · When exactly do you get this error message?

    · What is the exact and complete error message?

Reply with above information to help you better.

I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

    Step 1:

Restart computer in safe mode and check if the issue occurs follow the steps in link:

    ================================================== =====

    Hi,

It seems that some of your system files have got corrupted.
I think the safe method of overcome this problem is to reinstall Windows XP in your computer.
    Such things do happen.
Th files get modified either due to a virus attack.
So the best way is to reinstall the Windows XP.

    Bye!
