Getting blank screen while playing games through Windows Vista

Whenever I want to play games through my PC running on Windows Vista, I will get a blank screen on the system. It does launch the games for few seconds. How can I fix up this issue?

This issue can be resolved by adjusting the hardware acceleration on your system. Click the ‘Start’ button for that and type personalization into the search field. Once you can view the ‘Programs’ list, click on ‘Personalization’ from it. Make a single click on ‘Display Settings’ afterwards and hit the ‘Advanced Settings’ button. Press the ‘Troubleshoot’ tab after that and locate the ‘Change settings’ option. You will then prompt for confirmation or administrator password. Select the ‘Allow’ option or enter the relevant password respectively. Then, you can find the ‘Hardware Acceleration’ slider. Move that slider to left side of ‘Disable cursor and bitmap accelerations’ setting. Press the ‘OK’ button and click on ‘Restart Now’ option. Finally, restart the system and check whether the issue still persists or not.

Re: Getting blank screen while playing games through Windows Vista

    Hi friend,

This might occur due to the following reasons:-

Make sure to adjust the computer settings according to the Game.

    1. First of all adjust the screen resolution of the system according to the game.

    2. After that make sure that the system is compatible with the game requirement.

    3. Make sure the Display settings are ok.

Usually the black screen would occur only if your system is not compatible with the game requirements.

Or else the video card or the Graphics card is not able to support the game requirements.

First of go through the game requirements and then after look for the system internal problems such as screen resolution, Ram speed, Operating System Compatibility.

Hope i have helped you in getting relevant information.

    All the best

    Thanking you...
