Getting an error message "ATH.exe has stopped working" in Windows OS

I have a windows 7 computer and I have installed iTunes application. I want to perform the synchronization operation between my iPhone and iTunes but my computer flashes an error message "ATH.exe has stopped working". What should I do?

ATH.exe is simply a service which is known for handling Apple related application in windows platform. To fix your issue, First of all end this process via Task Manager. For that, right click on "Taskbar" and choose "Start Task Manager" option. After that, Click on "Processes" tab. Now look for "ATH.exe" service. Simply right click on it and choose "End". If the same issue occurs again, start your Task Manager again and move to the "Application" tab. Click on "New Task". You will see a Pop-up window. Simply, Click on "Browse" and look for "ATH.exe". You will find it at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\ATH.exe". Once found, double click on it. You will be redirected back to the pop-up window again. A small black window will appear for few seconds. That's all. You are done.
