Getting an error "the parameter is incorrect ( 0x80070057)" in windows 7

I am trying to create a system repair disc in windows 7 computer. When i click on create button,an error message appears which says "the parameter is incorrect ( 0x80070057)". Am i doing something wrong? If yes then provide all steps which are required for creating a recovery disc.

You haven't mentioned the steps, which you have employed so it would be difficult to say whether you have done something wrong or not.The procedure for creating a recovery disc are given below.
    1. Insert Windows 7 installation disc and Boot your computer.
    2. When Main Setup window appears, click on "Repair" option. You will find this option in the lower left corner.
    3. Then, select command prompt from the Repair Menu.
    4. Type "recdisc" in the command prompt and hit the "Enter" button on your keyboard.
    5. In next step, you should choose the drive letter to create the recovery disc to.
    6. Use a blank DVD and click on "Start". It will create the System Repair Disc.

This kind of problem arises due to third party applications which changes the locale during runtime.
you can solve this problem by setting the decimal symbol to .(DOT).

    Open Control Panel.
Click on Clock, language and Region.
now click on region and language.
click Formats tab and then click on Additional settings.
In the decimal symbol field type .(DOT).
    click OK
    click OK

Now you must restart your system.

    problem is solved.

    happy to assist you
