    Getting an error "print operation cannot complete(error 0x00000006).."

    I am on windows 7 and currently using network kyocera taskalfa 300i printer. However i am not able to print even a test page. When i try to do so,it flashes an error message "test page failed to print operation cannot complete(error 0x00000006)". Is there any method to fix this issue?

    To fix this issue,click on Start>>Control Panel>>Settings>>Add Printer>>Add a local Printer. Then click on "Create a New Port">>Use Local Port. You will see a new Dialogue box where you should "Enter a Port Name". In the option where it says "Type in the path to the printer",write something like "\\(computer name)\(printer name)". Once done,check whether it works or not.

    To fix this issue follow these steps

    1. Go to the desktop then click on start button
    2. Then choose the Control panel
    3. Now choose the option Settings
    4. Now select the option Add Printer
    5. Then select the option Add a local printer
    6. Now choose the option Create a new port
    7. Then choose the Local Port and the enter the Port name and then enter the path to the printer
    8. Then tap on Ok.
    now your problem will be solved.

    Hi, Dear friend

    To resolve the .....issue try to check the below settings

    First of all press windows key+R and type services.msc and click OK

    then find print spooler......and double click on it...and check wither it is started or not ....if not simply click the start button

    and after that go to start menu >> Control Panel >> System and Security

    and now click on Administrative Templates option .... ...then double click on PRINT MANAGEMENT .... and then choose All Printers option

    and now choose your Printer from the list ....and check all the settings .... and make it as default.....and check if it helps

    and if you are unable to solve the issue case...go to control panel and type troubleshoot in the search box of control panel ...and click on Troubleshooting >> Hardware and sound >> Printer .....and then click on ADVANCED .. and select apply automatic repairs check box ...and click NEXT .....and Finish the process

    and again if you are unable to solve the issue causes ...... go to device manager ...and right click on Printer Drivers and choose Uninstall them

    then once remove all the connection of the Printer..... and restart the PC

    then re-connect the printer ... to the PC ... and re-install the Drivers ... after that it will be solved
