Getting an error "video.library-ms is no longer working. This.." when trying to access Video Library

I am a windows 7 user. I was trying to access my video library but instead of opening it, an error message "video.library-ms is no longer working. This library can be safely deleted from your computer. Folders that have been included will not be affected" occurred. Then i tried to check its properties but it doesn't allow me to do so. What should i do to fix it?

Re: Getting an error "video.library-ms is no longer working. This.." when trying to access Video Library

For fixing your issue, you should restore default libraries in your window 7 computer. To do the same, open "Windows Explorer", right click on the video library and choose Delete. If it ask for the confirmation then click on "Yes". Don't worry because deletion of library doesn't delete the contents of the included Folders. However you may need to include your folder manually(if needed). After that,in the Navigation Pane of windows, right click on Libraries and choose the Restore Default Libraries. It simply creates new library i.e your default libraries. It should work for you. However let me know,if you need any further assistance.

To fix this issue follow these steps

    • Open the windows explorer by pressing Windows +E
    • Then select the option Video library
    • then right click on it and then tap on delete
    • Then confirm the action by tapping on Yes
    • Then navigate to the Windows pane
    • Then choose the Libraries folder and right click on it
    • Now select the option Restore Default libraries
By tapping on the option it will restore the default libraries then you can use that with out any problem.
