Getting a pop-up error message as “Windows cannot find svchost.exe file”? What does that file used for?

Few days back I am facing this problem where in whenever I try to start my WIndows 7 PC it just boots up well and comes to the startup screen and right after that I get the pop-u message as “Windows cannot find svchost.exe file”? What does that files use for? How to overcome that error being shown in the startup?

    Hi,
Your problem is a common one and can be wiped off taking a few steps.

A svchost.exe file is basically an executable file that runs files with .dll extentions, which are "Magic"files and stores important codes and commands within itself. But the limitation of these important files are they cant run themselves, need executable files to run them and svchost.exe files run those .dll files for the system to run to its full potentiality.

Loosing svchost.exe means no running of .dll files and the system will be colapsed. To correct the situation, you need to do this.

Check for virus. sometimes Worms trick being svchost.exe, if it is so then use antivirus and remove it.
Edit registry for any bad entry that might have happend accidentally. clean registry with regedit or a third party cleaner and system will be fine.
Try to uninstall the recentmost program which you have installed and check for a change.

    Good luck.

SVCHOST.EXE files are used by system to control various system processes.
TO solve your problem use this procedure:-
    - Copy and Paste Svchost.exe to the Correct Directory on Your System.
    - Download System Optimize Tools to Fix Svchost.exe

-if you can not find a copy of svchost.exe in this folder C://WINDOWS/System32 then try system searching function to find out svchost.exe file. this may be removed to another location by mistake.
then, copy svchost.exe and paste in the correct folder C://WINDOWS/System32.

Solution 2- if you dont found this file then try to restore your system to the previous restore point.
