Getting registry error while using CD/DVD drive with Windows 7

I am using Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop and it runs on Windows 7. When I try to use its CD/DVD drive, I keep getting the message “Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged (Code 19)”. Is there any way available to avoid this error message?

Bing up the start search box by pressing the ‘Start’ button and type ‘Device Manager’ into it. Press the ‘Enter’ key afterwards or click on ‘Device Manager’ option. You can then find Device Manager tree on the screen from which expand the CD/DVD listing. The next step required is to right click on the optical drive available on the screen. Click the ‘Uninstall’ option from the options pop up on the screen. This will uninstall the DVD drive from your system. Finally, restart your PC and see whether the DVD drive works fine afterwards.

    Hello !!

this is not an error buddy, this is warning to you that your CD/DVD drivers are not properly installed and it might lead to the serious hardware problem if you keep continuing your hardware without the proper installation of your drives.
so,for avoiding such kind of error you must install the required drivers using recommended settings.

hopwe i am clear to you.
