Getting USB Connect/Disconnect notification on Windows 7

I used to get USB Connect/Disconnect notification intermittently on my laptop upgraded to Windows 7. I have no idea about the device which causes this notification by triggering in device manager. In what way can I solve this problem?

    hiii...
There can be two of the problems.
Firstly can be that your port is damaged and is not able to grip the USB.
Other is that the drivers could not be installed correctly when firstly used on the port.
To reinstall the drivers, open the device manager.(right click on computer, then in properties, then click device manager).
    Go to universal Serial buses.
Right click and then in properties, click drivers. Then click edit and unistall the drivers.
Then reinsert the USB and you will see that the drivers are being installed again.
If still not working, then the port would be damaged.

    Hi,

Go to the right hand corner of the Taskbar and you will find a small triad, which will say "Show Hidden Icons", once the mouse pointer rests on it.

Click that and you will find a menu popped up, select "CUSTOMIZE",

In the customization screen select "Windows Explorer: Safely remove ......." , turn that feature off.

Exit, you won`t be disturbed anymore.

    Thanks.

ou may disconnect all USB devices and then perform the following steps:
    a. Click Start, type Device Manager in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
    b. Click Continue. The Device Manager Dialog box is displayed.
    c. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
    d. In Device Manager, double click to expand "Universal Serial Bus controllers", right click on the Host Controller, click "Uninstall" and click "OK".
Restart your computer and Windows 7 will reinstall all USB controllers automatically.
