Getting Windows Boot Manager Error 0xc000000f while starting up Windows Vista

I have recently installed Windows Vista into my laptop. Since then, I can’t start up the system normally. Whenever I try to read the boot configuration data, I will get the error message “Getting Windows Boot Manager Error 0xc000000f”. I have pressed Ctrl+Alt+Delete after inserting the reinstallation disk. Still, the system won’t boot up to the desktop. In what way can I fix up this issue?

You can resolve this issue by running Bootrec.exe tool. Insert the Windows Vista installation disk into the drive for that and start up the system. Press any key on the keyboard while you are prompted. Choose language, time, currency or input method and hit the ‘Next’ button. The next step required is to make a single click on the ‘Repair your computer’ option. Select the operating system you need to repair and click the ‘Next’ button. This will bring up ‘System Recovery Options’ dialog box from which click the ‘Command Prompt’ option. Type Bootrec.exe into the black command prompt window and press the ‘Enter’ key for executing the command.
