    Got stuck after clicking on “Install Updates” in Windows 7 Professional

    I turned ON Windows 7 professional System and go the pop up is update is ready to install and click to install it. I clicked on the update to install it and my System got stucked. I turned the System OFF and ON, but the problem is not solved. What might be the problem? Please, help!

    Hello friend...

    To get rid of this issue follow the steps given below:

    Step 1:
    If it is still stuck on the installing page, then restart the computer and choose boot normally and check what happens.

    Step 2:
    If you are not able to boot normally to the desktop, then follow the steps given in the below link to "Startup repair "

    Step 3:
    When you are boot normally then check the update history to find out the installed updates by the following link

    hi dear friend................To solve this issue follow the below instructions


    press windows key+r now, type services.msc and press enter key


    now scroll down and find windows update and right click on it ....and choose STOP


    now again press windows key+r now, type %homedrive%\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and press enter key


    after double click on Data store folder and delete all the files from the folder


    and come one step back and double click on Download folder and also delete all the files from the folder


    after that Restart the PC


    then open run and type services.msc and press enter key


    after that find and right click on windows update .....and select START from the pop up


    and now try Again.....your problem will be resolved
