    Hanging issue in Windows 7

My PC works in Windows 7, with 8 GB ram. From the past 2-3 days, the system hangs randomly for some minutes and restarts automatically. The problem persists after virus scan. How to solve this issue?

    Hi.
First of all, remove all unnecessary hardware devices from the computer, try entering Windows safe mode to test whether it is a third-party software/hardware compatibility issue. If so, please download and run Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor to check the reason for the issue. If the issue is caused by some incompatible driver, you might go to Device Manager, right click your hardware device in the list and select Update Driver Software; then click Search automatically for updated driver software.
    Thank you.

    Hi,

The problem of hanging is the ancient problem of computer and a nagging one.

In your case as you have stated the system is checked for virus by you and yet there is hardly any development.

First of all are you sure your antivirus is virus free ?

Assuming you have a clean system, let me suggest you that the RAM in your system must have something for which you are in trouble.

Open the CPU casing, you will find possibly two slots are engaged with 4 GB of RAM unmount them , clean the goldfinger in them blow air in the mainboard slots and remount them. Run the computer and observe.

    Thanks.

This seems like it is an issue with Windows 7. i would recommend try to uninstall Unwanted files from your computer. Also check if you have any updates required on the computer. Try updating Windows (Windows update). Also check when exactly your system hangs (Which application you open). After that try to reisntall windows using OS CD/DVD. That will fix the issue.

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say...........

The main reason for this problem is deleting of system files or this may be the
problem of the virus affected your computer.

You may be accidentally deleted the system files. So it is better to restore
the files to do so you have to perform the backup in your computer. So if
any of your system files have been deleted recently will restore back into
    your computer.

Or check that any virus present in your computer. To check that first of all
install a antivirus software in your compute any check for virus. If you find any
virus delete or scan that file. So you may fix your problem.

Even you are not able to fix the problem. Then insert the Motherboard CD/DVD.
And try to repair your computer by restarting.

I hope it will help you.

    Have a nice day.............

My dear friend i think that your computer has been under some series virus attack. So first of all i would like you to use a paid version of some good antivirus like avira, avast, avg, quickheal etc.
Then make sure that if there is not any dust present on your CPU. Because that also causes hanging issues for PCs.
If the problem is not solved then i would like you to reinstall the windows to your pc.
    Good luck!!!

    hi, friend,

    >> You need to check your system support manual.

    >> As i think this problem is occur because of over RAM .

    >> It may possible your motherboard is not support 8 GB of RAM and so it will restart randomly.

    >> or other chance is virus if in your system there is virus is there and it may also possible your antivirus cant catch it.

    >> so for that you have to re install your OS once again and then it may solve.

    Hello friend,

If you system hangs then it is due to so much reasons.
If the system has more stress as well as strain then it is obvious that your system starts hangs up.

There are so many softwares which uses the more RAM(Random Access Memory),
so you have to remove them to stop the hanging process.

If your system has more virus then also your
system's speed decreases or you can say hang up.

You have to install the Genuine Window 7.

If you thing that your computer works well
after reistallation of window 7 then do it.

Sometimes computer hangs up due to heavy sites means
when you are using internet and your system hangs then it is due to harmful or heavy sites.

    Install some good antivirus.
I think Norton is the best Anti-virus .

    Thank u!!

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say...............

1.When you have scanned your system some of the system files also may be detected.

2.You might have deleted those files without cleaning.

3.So the system is restarting now because of those lost important files.

4.So you insert the Windows 7 CD in your system and then restart your system.

5.While restarting press any key and it will take you to the installation wizqard.

6.There you press the key 'R' to start repairing.

I hope by doing as i said you can solve your problem.

    Have a nice day................
