    Headset is not recognised in Windows Vista System

    I connected Headset to Windows Vista System through USB port. I could not find it in the System. I removed and reconnected in to the System, but could not find it in the System. I restarted the System, but problem is not solved. What might be the problem? Please, help me!

    Hi,

    there can be several reasons why the head phone is not getting recognized.

    Check the Head Phone cable, and connector jack if there is any visible problems there.

    Check the USB Device Driver if that is functional. Possibly the Driver need an upgradation to recognize the latest headphone.

    Use control , Device driver option to get into the Universal Serial Bus Controller, and from there Update Driver to change it.

    This should solve the problem for you.

    Right click on the volume icon in system tray.
    2. Select play back devices.
    3. Select the device and click on set as default.
    4. Check if the issue is resolved.
