    to change the color:

    1. go to start and the control panel

    2. in control panel choose EASE OF ACCESS

    3. on the next screen click on the command that says: "change how your mouse works"

    4. at the top of the next window, you will find the options for changing both the size and the color of your pointer

    5. to access more cursor options, select the mouse setting link at the bottom of the window. the pointer option pane of the mouse properties windows has options for adding a pointer trail and for playing an animation when you press the control key on your keyboard. this animation helps locate the pointer on the screen.

    1
Navigate to the "Start" menu and select the "Control Panel," "Hardware" and "Mouse." The Mouse Properties dialog appears.

    2
    Select the "Pointers" tab.

    3
Select the desired scheme from the "Scheme" list to change the mouse pointer. Alternatively, you can change an individual pointer by highlighting the pointer you want to change in the "Customize" list. Then select "Browse" and click the pointer you want to use, and then click Open.

    4
    Click "Apply" and "OK."
