    How can I create a link of my drives in my start menu?

    Hi friends I want to create a link for all my drives in start menu but not getting how to do that please help.

    Windows provide very easy way to add and drive, any folder or icon on the
    start menu of your system. For add a drive to start menu follow the following
    steps:-
    1. Go to the driver that you want to add in start menu
    2. Right click on that
    3. a new pop up will be open
    4. Click there at "include in Library"
    5. then in new pop up chooce "Create New Library"
    6. A new library is created on the start menu and first time
    fined it by searching on start menu.
    So driver is now on start menu. All the best

    Friend, follow these Steps:

    • Click "Start" which is at the bottom of your Computer Screen.
    • Right Click on "My Computer" of the Start Menu. Choose "Explore" from the short cut Menu. My Computer Window opens on the Desktop.
    • Select the drive you want to Create the link or Short cut by Clicking on it. Click on the drive listed in the "Name", but not in the folders section.
    • Choose "Create Short cut" from the File Menu and the Short cut dialog box will open on the Screen. This creates the icon in the current location. You can arrange it on the Desktop.
    • Select "Yes" and the Short cut for your Drive is created on your Desktop. Do this for Every Drive for which you want to create Short cut.

    its simple

    first create a shortcut of drive in your Desktop
    desk.JPG

    then drag the shortcut to the startMenu (i.e) the windows symbol.the start menu will pop up
    then place it in the start menu

    that's it now you'll see something like this

    hi!!!!!!
    its very simple and easy...
    step 1: you click on the respective drive icon in your computer drive and drag it to the start button by holding the left mouse button to it and using mouse pad with the other finger to drag it.and as the start menu opens you will see the option of pinning your drive to the menu as shown in the image below.

    alternatively if the start menu doesnt open while you dragging the icon you can click on the short cut on the keyoard for start menu in my case it is windows sign next to alt key.

    step 2:2nd step is to release the icon in the start menu when it says pin to start menu a s shown above.if you dont release it when it says 'pin to start menu' you might lose the link and you ill have to try again.
    i think in couple of tries you will get it as did i...))))))

    You can create your drives as a shortcut on the start menu and it is so simple to do because if you use it by clicking right button of your mouse and then it shows options of create shortcut or add to start menu and then you can add it to the start menu.it is very simple to use.

    simple formula is it.
    open drive folder .
    choose any drive click on it left button and hold click by mouse than
    moving ur mouse on start menu.
    than free holding click . that is mazing now u have drive link in start menu

    go to the drive witch u want to add start menu right click and select include library now choose a new library u will done or create a shortcut of the drive witch u want to add. now drag the short in to start menu,

    there are some steps to follow few of them given below :

    STEPS ARE :

    STEP - 1 :

    - select the particular drive like (C/D/E/F) choose any one of them

    STEP - 2 :

    - then right click on the particular drive

    STEP - 3 :

    - Select the list options include in library method

    STEP - 4 :

    - After that there will be option like create new library options

    STEP - 5 :

    - Then the new library is created check the start menu

    Open my computer
    select the drive you need to dispaly in the start menu.
    then drag it on the 'start' it will open start menu
    then just drop it on the start menu.
    It will be added to the list.
    You will be amazed to see this.
    If you dont want it anymore right click on it and select unpin this program

    Steps are as follows :-
    step1 :- open "my computer"
    step 2 :- right click on the drive which you want to create a link on start menu
    step 3 :- click on "create shortcut". then shortcut appears on desktop.
    step 4 :- drag this shortcut to the start menu and drop there.
    You get your link there.

    Or direct method
    step 1 :- open "my computer"
    step 2 :- click and drag the drive(which you want as a shortcut) to the start menu and drop there
    You get the link to open that drive.

    HI,


    Follow the simple steps to create the link in your start menu -

    1)GOTO my Computer.

    2)select the drive that you needed in the start menu.

    3)Do right click and click on create shortcut.

    4)The shorcut will appear on your desktop.

    5)Drag that icon which has appear in the desktop in the start menu.

    Thats it now you will be able to access the shortcut and your problem will be solved...
