    How can I disable registry to avoid hacking?

    Hi guys can anyone tell me how can I disable my registry from windows 7 to avoid hackers to control my windows 7 from registry I am really worried about it so please help me thank you.

    Procedure to disable registry to avoid Hacking :
    If you want to disable registry to avoid Hacking then you have to reboot for the change in the registry effects.And one important things you have to note that while using a trick you make sure that users are not administration of your Computer or Laptop.

    Otherwise users can change settings of computer.This disable registry works in Windows Vista and Windows 7.

    After disable registry you can also enable your registry and steps for enable registry are following as :

    >>> Firstly you have to click on Start button and Remove set up from your computer .

    >>> Then create a new shortcut on your PC.

    >>> After that log off and log on .

    >>> As soon as possible your Computer are enable and disable according to instruction given by users.

    To disable registry first you need to click on start button
    then click control panel then on>
    performance and maintenance
    then on >administrative tools
    again in that click on> services, in services you will find remote registry
    so click on it then press the stop button to stop all the services and finally click
    on disable.

    start> type regedit> browse to HIKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURR ENTVERSION\POLOCIES\SYSTEM
    CREATE A NEW 32 BIT DWORD VALUE
    name it DISABLEREGISTRYBOOT
    double click on it to set its value to 1

    Friend, follow This:

    STEP 1: Start > Run> Type 'gpedit.msc' and Press Enter.

    STEP 2: This opens the Group Policy Editor and navigate to User Configuration\ Administrative Templates and Select 'System'.

    In the Right Panel under Settings double Click on 'Prevent Access to registry Editing Tools.

    STEP 3: Select 'Enable' Radio Button and Click 'OK'. You are out of Group Editor Window.

    Now, your Registry is Secured. No one can access it. It cannot be hacked by any one. If any one tries to access the Registry, they will receive an Error Message.

    If some one tries to access the Registry

    You can disable registry

    To disable registry you can follow the steps


    >> Go to Start

    >> Go to Control Panel

    >> Click on “Performance and maintenance”

    >> Select “Administrative tools”

    >> Select “Services”

    >> Now Click on “Disable”

    >> Done !!

    for the disable of windows registry you must follow these steps
    first you go to the control panel and then go on the performance and maintenance then
    select the administrative tools after that select the services then click on the remote registry then hit the stop
    then click on the disable button.
    Then you can disable registry.

    1. First type gpedit.msc into the Search box in the Start menu.

    2. When Group Policy Editor opens, navigate to User Configuration \ Administrative Templates then select System. Under Setting in the right panel double-click on Prevent access to registry editing tools.

    3. Select the radio button next to Enabled, click OK, then close out of Group Policy Editor.

    4. Now if a user tries to access the Registry…


    They will get the following message advising they cannot access it.

    Hello Dear Friend ...


    Just follow the below process


    First of all open the Home page

    Then go to START

    And then click on RUN option

    use a prior version of Vista

    Enter re edit in to the open box

    Navigate to the Tools

    There you can select the services option

    Then select the Registry

    Then click on OK

    Hi, to disable registry just follow these steps:
    1. move to the control panel.
    2. Then click on performance and maintenance and then on administrative tools
    3. Now click on services.
    4. Now click on remote registry followed by a press on the stop button.
    5. Now click on disable.

    its done.

    Hi friend,

    The following is the procedure for solving the problem of disabling registry to avoid hacking.

    At first you have to go to the startup menu.

    Then tap on to the control panel option.

    Now press the 'performance and maintenance option.

    There the option of 'administrative tools' is to be selected.

    After that you need to press the 'services' option.

    Then press the 'remote registry' option.

    Now the 'stop' option is to be tapped.

    After that you can tap the 'disable' option.
