First bring up the Start menu. Go to Control Panel and Select Network and Sharing Center. Near the connection you want to examine, click the ‘View Status’ label. Click the Details button. A new dialog box will now appear. Find the Physical address field in the dialog box. It will be a hexadecimal 12 digit number comprising of numbers and alphabets from A to F. This is your MAC number.
