    hi friend,
IconCache.db is a special file that Windows uses to keep copies of each icon handy.

If you are using windows xp ,then you can see in
    C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\IconCache.db

    For vista and windows 7
    C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\IconCache.db

If something happens and Windows starts displaying wrong icons on the desktop then you need to force Windows to rebuild its icon cache. This can be done easily by deleting the IconCache.db file.
