It is possible to cancel a print job that is given on a windows computer. For this you need to follow the following steps. First you need to right click on printer icon on the right hand bottom corner of the task bar. Then, you need to click on the option called Print jobs. Now there you will find the various print jobs on the computer. You can right click on the desired one and delete it from the print option. This prevents the windows computer to take the print out of the file.

    Hello,

When you give a print command there is a print button present.
When you press it , the printing starts.
After that there is a cancel button which is displayed on the screen , you can press it to cancel the printing.
If you are unable to cancel the print from there then you can just cancel it form the printer side too.
There is a cancel button on the printers too.

    Hello,
    1) Go to Printers in your Control Panel (In XP: Start> Settings> Printers and Faxes. In Vista: Start> Control Panel> Hardware and Sounds> Printers.)

    2) Double-click on the printer that is still trying to print the 10-page document.

3)The window that opens will show all the print jobs scheduled to be sent to the printer for completion, and the 10-page document should appear here.

    4) Click on Printer from the menu bar, and click Cancel All Documents.

    Regards!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes of course, there is a provision of CANCEL button on most of the new generation printers. You can always use the button to cancel the jobs. But, even if your computer does not have one, you can easily cancel a print job by the procedure : 1) Go to Printers in your Control Panel (In XP: Start> Settings> Printers and Faxes. In Vista: Start> Control Panel> Hardware and Sounds> Printers.) 2) Double-click on the printer that is still trying to print the 10-page document. The window that opens will show all the print jobs scheduled to be sent to the printer for completion, and the 10-page document should appear here. 3) Click on Printer from the menu bar, and click Cancel All Documents. (Answer Yes if youre asked, are you sure?) Thats it. You are done..!!
