How to capture screen in windows 7?

I am a regular windows 7 user and now creating a Demo. For this I need to add some pictures and videos which appears on screen but I don’t know how to do it. I tried to take the picture from my digital camera but the quality is very bad. I have seen that most of the people who create demonstration add high quality pictures. I don’t know how they do it. Will you please explain the whole procedure.

    Hi,
What you are seeing is done people who are doing project work or professional work. This is a very useful and intriguing question that you have asked. You are right, that in a digital camera, the picture will look bad due to the fact that the snapshot is taken from outside. What you should is follow the steps that I am mentioning here and you will have some nice snapshots for your Demo.

1)Just open the picture or video that you need to take a still of.
2)If it is a picture then it is ok, but if it is a video, then you need to pause it at that place where you want that particular snapshot. Now where you want to pause, that depends upon you.
3)then you need to click on the print screen button of your keyboard. You will get this button in the top right area of your keyboard.
    4) Open some picture editor and right click on the canvas area and click on "Paste".
5)You will see that, the particular still is easily pasted in that picture editor. Now you save that in any format you want and present in your Demo.
All The Best for your Demo!!
