    How to change the Keyboard Input Language from UK to US in Windows 7?

    I was using US keyboard input before I reinstalled my Windows 7 and by mistake I chose UK in Keyboard option. Is it possible to change the input Keyboard from UK to US without reinstallation. Any suggestions are welcome

    Dear Friend,

    Yes it is possible to change the Keyboard Input Language in Windows 7 after installation.

    Just follow the easiest steps given by me to do it :
    (Each step is important follow clearly)

    1) In the Search box of start button of Windows 7 type - Change keyboards or other input methods.

    2) Look for the search results.

    3) In the search results select the option -
    Change keyboards or other input methods.

    4) A new windows will open up, in that windows go to Keyboards and Languages option.

    5) In that tab click on Change Keyboards option. A new window will open.

    6) In new window click on Add button, and search and select English(United States) and click OK.

    7) And below Default input language select English(Untied States) - US option and then click OK.

    To change the input language of the keyboard follow the steps:



    1)OpenRegion and Language by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Clock, Language, and Region, and then clicking Region and Language.



    2)Click the Keyboards and Languages tab, and then click Change keyboards.

    4) add input language menu will open up, by default US will be marked.

    5)to change it to UK , Double-click the language you want to add, double-click Keyboard, select the text services options you want to add, and then click OK.

    here you go, your keyboard input language changed to UK

    Follow these steps:


    1.On the LANGUAGE BAR,click the INPUT LANGUAGE button and

    2.select an input language.

    3.Click KEYBOARD LAYOUT button and select keyboard layout.

    hiii, its easy to do.........

    just follow my instructions........

    1.go to your controlpanel.....and in that click on language icon...........

    2.then in the language window either double click on the add language or click on options for an added language...........

    3.now scroll down to select which language do you want to set..........

    4.then hit save button to complete the process.........

    You can change the keyboard setting of your computer without re installing the OS.
    Type 'change keyboard' in the search and press enter.
    You will get a new window as shown below,

    Following these steps you can change the Keyboard Input Language from UK to US in Windows 7 . Steps that you need to follow are given below :



    • Click start Button and go to control panel .
    • Select User Accounts and family safety options from control panel .
    • Then select Language , region , Time form left hand side menu .
    • From here you can install any new language for use .
    • You can even change language from these options .

    Yes,u can change the keyboard input language from UK to US in windows 7.....It's easy.Just follow this stapes:

    • Click on Start Button.
    • Search for "Change keyboard and other input methods"
    • Click "Change keyboard and other input methods.
    • When a new window open click Click "Keyboards and Language" option
    • Now click on Change Keyboard Option


    • Now click on add and search for ENGLISH(US)





    • Now select it.

    To change the Keyboard language UK to US follow this steps:-


    • Click the Star Button and Open the Control Panel and click the Region and Language icon.

    hi my dear friend..........to change the language from UK ot US


    first click the start menu and open the control panel

    after that click on the clock language and region option

    after that click on the language option

    then click on the option from the right pane of the window

    after that click the Add an input method option

    then choose the US from the list and click ADD option

    Right click on Desktop and Chose Personalize..

    Then click on Control panel home..

    Now you can Select Clock,Language and Region..

    Next click on Language..

    Now change the language UK to US..

    I have the solution for your problem just do as i say.........

    1.firstly go to the start menu.

    2.There you click on 'Control Panel'.

    3.Now you make a click on 'Clock,Language and Regional settings'.

    4.Now a new page will open there you click on 'Language settings'.

    5.Now a new window will open.

    6.There you select the language you like.

    7.At last click 'Apply' and then 'OK'.

    Yeah! i have got your problem and i have the right solution for your problem.

    1.Firstly go to the Desktop of your PC.

    2.Now click on the option of 'Start menu' tab.

    3.Now go for the option of 'Control panel' tab.

    4.Now click on the option of 'Clock,language and Regional settings' tab.

    5.Now click on the option of 'Language settings' tab.

    6.Now select the required language you require.

    That's it by following the above mentioned steps your problem will get solved for sure.
