How to check if a video player is compatible to use with Windows XP powered Asus laptop before installation?

I am impressed with an advanced video player when tried out on my friend’s laptop. I would like to install it on my Windows XP powered Asus laptop but need to know if it is compatible before installation. How can I check with it?

    Dear,

This is a very simple process to check whether software (in your case video player) is compatible with Windows XP.

Software compatibility does not depend upon the laptop manufacturer. It only depends upon the operating system and the system configurations you are using.

Know your system configuration by using software named as – Speccy. It is a freeware and small size utility.

Go to the official website of the video player and check its system requirements. Compare with your system configuration. If your system meets the minimum requirement for the player, then it is compatible with your system and you can install it without any difficulty.

    Thanks!

    Hello Friend,

Well, the choice of Video Player is entirely dependent on your Asus laptop hardware configuration and your personal preference. Generally, people tend to download the latest version of Video Player from the internet to get the best result. Before doing that you have to make sure you know your hardware configuration well. There are some good Video Players which you can easily install to your laptop such as,

    1. VLC Player
    2. KM Player.
    3. GOM Player.

I hope this information will be helpful to you.

    Bye,
