    For changing the controls of the shows from getting automatically deleted, you will have to;
    • Select the ‘Start’ tab
    • Then select ‘All Programs’
    • Now select ‘Windows Media Center’
    • On the start screen, you will have to choose the option denoted as ‘Tasks’
    • Then tap on the ‘Settings’ option
    • Select ‘TV’ tab
    • Then tap on the ‘Recorder’ option
    • Now click on the option denoted as ‘Recording Defaults’
    • Click on the ‘Keep’ option
    • Now you will be provided with the options such as - Until Space Needed, For 1 week, Until I Watch, Until I delete
    • These options ill delete the recordings as per the choices given
    • Select the one of your choice
    • Finally tap on the option denoted as ‘Save’
    This is how you can keep a control on how the shows are automatically deleted from the Windows Media Center.
