    How to convert my local Account in to Microsoft Account?

    I do not have Hotmail account to login to the Microsoft Account. So, Can I use any email address to login to the Microsoft Account, If yes, then how? Please, anyone help me in saying how to convert local account to Microsoft Account.

    Yes,even though you do not have Hotmail, you can login to the Microsoft Account by converting your local Account to the Microsoft Account. Follow these steps.

    Move the slide bar from left to right, to make it active.
    Tap on the “Settings” Charm.
    Click on “Change PC Settings”.
    Tap on “Users” in the left pane.
    Click on the “Switch on Microsoft Account”.
    Follow the instructions.
    Now, you can login to the Microsoft Account with the local Account. Your Problem is Solved.

    DEAR FRIEND,

    To switch to microsoft account from the local account

    press windows key+I combination from the keyboard

    then click the change PC settings from the charm bar

    then select the users option from the left pane

    and click on switch to microsoft account option from the right pane

    if you already have account in microsoft then enter your ID and password and click LOGIN

    other wise click on sign up option and create the microsoft account ID

    switched-to-microsoft-account.jpg and finally click the FINISH button

    then login with the microsoft account ID

    Hi.
    Use the following steps to convert your local account:1.Press the Windows key + C to open your Charms..
    2.Select the Settings charm, and then click Change PC settings.
    3.Click Users.
    4.Click the Switch to a Microsoft Account button in the Your Account section.
    5.The Sign in with a Microsoft Account wizard will appear. Enter the password for your local account and click Next.
    6.Enter the email address and password for your Microsoft Account.
    NOTE: If the email address you enter is not a Microsoft Account, you will be prompted to create one.
    7.Click Finish at the confirmation screen.
    8.Sign out and then sign in using the Microsoft Account to make the changes take effect.
