How a device in Windows Device Manager can be removed on Panasonic laptop?

I have installed a web cam on my Panasonic laptop last week but later found that the device is faulty. I have uninstalled it once. But the name of the web cam is still seen on the devices in the Windows Device Manager. How can I remove that?

The windows device manager has to be opened at first on your Panasonic laptop. There you can see all the possible device types on your system on the screen. Then you can tap on the '+' symbol which is near the device type of that particular device. Like if it is video card, then display adapters’ + symbol has to be selected. Followed by that, the listing of devices within that category will be displayed. There you can highlight to select the specific device you have chosen for removal. Then the delete key on the keyboard has to be selected for removing it. Or else you need to hit on the ‘action’ option on the screen. Then you must hit on the option with the label ‘uninstall’ to remove it.

    Hi,

Uninstalling a device is always on in Windows environment.

Go to Start> control panel>system and securities>device manager>imaging devices>click to select the device to be uninstalled > uninstall to remove the driver for webcam,

This should uninstall the Cam. If there is a mention of the cam it can be but you dont have to be worried as it is not significant and the next installation can remove the name.

    Thanks.
