How to disable ‘Device Driver Signing’ feature on Windows 8?

It is not possible to install drivers into my PC running on Windows 8 as I keep getting the error message saying “Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device”. After searching a lot, I found that ‘Device Driver Signing’ feature in Windows 8 prevents from installing the driver. Is there any way available to turn off the feature?

Hover the mouse over lower left part of the desktop and click the ‘Settings’ option from the pop-up menu. Choose ‘Change PC Settings’ option afterwards and make a single click on ‘General’ option. Go to the bottom part of the screen and locate the ‘Advanced startup’ section. Click the ‘Restart Now’ option under that section and choose ‘Troubleshoot’ option. The next step required is to select the ‘Advanced Options’ and click the ‘Startup Options’ option. Finally, choose the ‘Restart’ option and wait until the system boot up into the desktop. Try to install a driver afterwards and check whether the issue still persists or not.

    Hello there !!!

Actually if the device driver sign certificate is enabled.
and if your driver is not having the digital signature than you will not be
able to install that particular driver.

so for disabling it do follow the steps given below :-

    1. go to that particular driver setup.
    2. right click on it.
    3. go to properties.
    4. then under that go to digital signature tab
    5. and then there you will find advance tab
    6. go inside it and then disable the digital signature.

    here you are done.
hope i am clear to you.
    thanks for posting in EALP.
