    How to get rid of "windows could not connected to the system event notification service..." error

    When i start my windows vista computer, it flashes an error message "windows could not connected to the system event notification service. This problem prevent limited users from logging on to the system As an administrator user, you can review the system event log for details about the service didn't respond". Do you know,how to fix this issue?

    Have you made any changes to computer? If yes then please provide complete details about the same so that we can help you. Meanwhile,you can fix your issue by following the below given steps:
    1. First of all,click on "Start" button and type "Services.msc" in the search box and press the Enter key on your keyboard.You will see the "Services" Window.
    2. Try to find "System Event Notification Service" option. Once found, check the "Startup" type and change it to "Automatic".
    3. It will fix your issue. If you are still facing the same issue then open "Command Prompt" as Administrator and type "netsh winsock reset". Once done, Press the "Enter" button on your keyboard. Finally Restart your computer and you are done.

    To fix this error follow these steps

    1. Go to the start and click on it
    2. Then type services.msc in the search box
    3. Now locate the System event Notifications service option.
    4. Then check the check box next to Startup type and changes it to Automatic
    5. Then restart the computer once
    6. This will fix your problem.
