How to get rid of Windows Live Photo Gallery traces in ‘Recent’ list?

I found that the Windows Live Photo Gallery has left its trail in ‘Recent’ on my PC. Even thought there is a pinned icon, it shows all photos while making a right click on it. It seems that I need to delete the photos one by one. In what way can I delete them in a single step?

As a first step, right click on the taskbar appears on the desktop. Then, click the ‘Properties’ option available on the menu appears on the screen. Press the ‘Start Menu’ tab pop up on the screen afterwards. You can then find ‘Store and display a list of recently opened files’ along with a check box. Clear that check box by simply clicking on it. Then, you need to click on the ‘OK’ button visible on the screen. Finally, check whether the traces have disappeared from ‘Recent’.
