How to minimize the programs automatically while starting them on Windows XP?

It is quite annoying to minimize the programs on my PC running on Windows XP whenever I need to run them in background. I would like to let these types of programs minimize by themselves while launching them. How to set it up?

The first step required is to locate the icon of the program you want to minimize automatically. Right click on that icon for bringing up a short menu. Scroll down to the bottom part until you can view ‘Properties’ option. Then, you need to click on that option for viewing the ‘Properties’ window. Press the ‘Shortcut’ tab in that window and locate the ‘Run’ label. Click on the dropdown menu next to that label and choose the ‘Minimized’ option. Finally, press the ‘OK’ button for saving all the changes made on properties.
