    How to open some application just by right click in Windows is that possible by doing some registry tweak?

    I heard from my friend that we can create the application shortcut just by right click and selecting the option of the application from the pop-up is that really possible in Windows? How to do it?

    Yes, it is possible to add the application as shortcuts in the right-click menu and its highly helpful for the applications which you use frequently. Just follow the steps as given,

    STEP 1: Open run command from start or press Windows key + R and type regedit and press OK.
    STEP 2: Navigate too HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell and right click on shell folder and select New-> Key and name it as Notepad.
    STEP 3: Now right click on Notepad and create New -> Key and name it as command.
    STEP 4: From the left window of the command folder double-click on the Default value and and paste "C:\Windows\System32\notepad.exe" in the Value data and press Ok.
    STEP 5: Now come to desktop and right-click and check if you can see the Notepad option there and try to click and open it to check if its working properly.

    By following the above steps you can carry it for any application.

    Yes, you can create shortcut for various application Notepad, Snipping Tool, MS config, Voice Recoder etc. with Right -Click menu of Mouse.

    Here I am guiding you through the steps :

    1. First open the command window, type "regedit". Click OK.

    2. You will see this. Click on Hkey Classes Root.



    Now follow the path -> Directory\Background\shell





    Next you will see this :

    Rename the new folder with the name of Application for which you want to create shortcut.


    Next step :

    Here the new folder has been named Netscape. Now again right click as shown in left .



    Next step :

    You will see another new folder, name it as command.


    Next step :

    When you will click Default, you will see new window , here put up the address of

    that application.

    It is to create a one click opening apps and folders and this can be done by choosing options in the mouse settings of the control panel and also if you want to do so the options of the mouse can be selected by clicking on the one click option.then it is very easy to operate with mouse and also with keyboard.

    Off course, you can open application just by right click in Windows.

    To open application just by right click in Windows , you can follow some simple steps:


    Steps:
    1. Go to Start
    2. Go to Run
    3. Type regidit
    4. Press Enter
    5. Now navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell
    6. Right click on shell folder
    7. Select New-> Key and name it as Notepad
    8. Right click on Notepad
    9. Create New -> Key and name it as command
    10. In the left of Command Folder, Double Click on Default Value
    11. Now Paste C:\Windows\System32\notepad.exe
    12. Click OK
    13. Now you can have a check by right clicking on the desktop
    14. You have successfully done

    yes my dear friend, you can alter your mouse settings and actions you do with mouse by alter registry editor.

    Follow below steps to get what you need

    click on Start
    type Run and hit enter
    type regidit and Enter
    search for HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shell
    Right click on shell folder
    Select New Key and name it as Notepad
    Right click on Notepad
    Create New Key and name it as command
    on the left side of Command Folder
    Double Click on Default Value
    Paste this C:\Windows\System32\notepad.exe and Click OK

    your problem is solved
