How to play the DVD in Windows Media player when it says “There is a problem with digital copy protection..."

I am trying to play a DVD in Window media player but when I do it says “There is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video card”. Why this problem is coming when I try to play my DVD? Is there any way to fix this problem?

    hii

The problem could be that your DVD drive is becoming faulty...
You have to check for any updated driver available for your DVD drive...
First uninstall the currently installed driver that your windows is using and install then use or install the updated one...
Also make sure that you check after installing the new and updated drivers that whether the problem has gone or not ..
If not then you might have to change your DVD drive ..

    thanks

    Cannot play the DVD

Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with digital copy protection between your DVD drive, decoder, and video card. In some cases, you can resolve the problem by updating the device driver for your video card. To determine if a more recent driver is available for your video card, do one of the following:
    • See Windows Update. Click Custom, and then in the section Select by Type, install any video card driver updates found under Hardware, Optional.
    • Visit your computer or video card manufacturer's Web site.
If you are running Windows XP, a troubleshooter is available to help you solve this problem. To troubleshoot the problem, see the "I receive a message about digital copy protection" option in the DVD Troubleshooter topic in Windows Help and Support.
    Note
    • To play DVDs, you must have a DVD-ROM drive and a software or hardware DVD decoder installed on your computer. If you do not have a compatible DVD decoder installed, DVD-related commands, options, and controls do not appear in the Player and you cannot play DVDs. For more information about DVD decoders for Windows XP, see Plug-ins for Windows Media Player.
