How to prevent password protected files from showing through search option in windows xp?

I am using windows xp and have noticed that when you search for whole folder using asterisk(*), it shows you all files in result. It doesn't matter whether the file is password protected, hidden (in case you have checked show hidden files) or simple. I just want to increase the protection by hiding the password protected files from the search result but don't know any such process. Is it possible? If yes then how?

To prevent the password from showin through search option we should have to encrypt it.. to do we should have to follow these steps:-
1.Select the folder you wish to encrypt.
2.Right-click the folder and click Properties.
    3.Click the Advanced button.
4.Check "Encrypt contents to secure data" option.
    5.Click Apply and then Ok.
