    No man,
Windows XP have no functionality for graphical password.
Windows XP allow you for only Alphanumeric password.

Yes you can activate voice recognition by which you can
enter the text and put the input by your voice.
You can perform All the task by your voice like Open the folder,
Maximize and Minimize the window, Shutdown and restart the computer
etc. But you can not prevent your computer by graphical password.

Well, I can guess why you want to evoke a graphical password in windows. This can be mainly because you are afraid that your system can get hacked. Or your system has been hacked earlier without your knowledge. But honey, the problem lies that graphical password cannot be introduced in Windows XP. As until now, nothing of that sort is implemented. What I would suggest you is to change your password from time to time as and when you log on. Or if your system is frequently used by other users, then change your password everyday. Maintain your own diary to remember those passwords. Do not share that diary. If you are working on your PC then for this purpose you have log in as the administrator and directly go to control panel. You will find the option called Users. From this option you will get the further option of Reset Password. In this text area give the password that you want for that day and the next day until you log on. Thus you will have a new password working for the time you want and until you yourself change it.

Click to open Local Security Policy

In the left pane, double-click Account Policies, and then click Password Policy.

Double-click the item in the Policy list that you want to change, change the setting, and then click OK.

You can use different types of passwords to protect your system by clicking on the user account settings and change password icon and then you can set your graphical password there by keeping your voice recognition as your password for the protection of your computer and it is very easy task to complete also.

    Hi,
although it seems to be a good idea but graphical password is not applicable in any windows available for daily users till now,
you can only use alphanumeric password or oral password, but now with development of windows 8 we can assume it will be there for us in a short time.

Its really good that you are quite aware about your computer's security issues. It's really good enough. Well, dear in case of Window XP, if you want to set graphical password then sorry to say its impossible. You can't do that. But you have other options, like:

    1. You can set alphanumeric password to your user account.

    2. You may set Oral password, where you can active your voice recognition with the help of you which can set restriction to make your security issues more stronger. With the help of this you can write text, can enter input, make the application in execution mode. Moreover, you can also perform simple task you perform to start & shut down the computer system.

But, For better security one must update the password, doesn't matter what kind of it is, time to time.

    Thanks.

    dear friend,

Sorry to say but windows XP doesn't have graphical password feature.

You can use only alphanumeric password in your XP computer.

If you want graphical password then you can install windows 7.

Windows 7 has alphanumeric password, graphical password & fingerprint password feature.

But if you still want to go with windows XP then you can set Voice password.

For that you have to enable voice recognition password in your computer.

Follow these steps to do that-

    Open "Control panel".

Go to the "Ease of access".

    Select "Speech Recognition".

You may see the tutorial first.

To set a voice password click on "Start speech recognition".

Follow the steps under the option & record your sound.

Save the file & click on Finish.

Set the audio file as your password.
