    To Remove SVCHOST.EXE :-

Restart your PC and press F8 and select the option Safe Mode Command Prompt Only.

And after you log-in the command prompt you must log-in as Administrator.

    Type cd C:\windows\system32

Type dir /ah, to display all hidden files on this directory folder. You will see the following files which is used by the virus to spread itself: AUTORUN.INI,
    BLASTCLNNN.EXE, and SCVHOST.EXE

    Type ATTRIB -H -R -S SCVHOST.EXE

    Type ATTRIB -H -R -S BLASTCLNNN.EXE

    Type ATTRIB -H -R -S AUTORUN.INI

    Type DEL SCVHOST.EXE

    Type DEL BLASTCLNNNN.EXE

    Type DEL AUTORUN.INI

    Type CD\

    Type ATTRIB -H -R -S AUTORUN.INF

    Type DEL AUTORUN.INF

You are almost done, reboot your PC

Go Start Menu and click the Run and type the REGEDIT command. Take note guys before make any changes into your Registry Editor you must make a full back-up to your registry to avoid system errors.

    Look the location entry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run, if you see an entry Yahoo! Messengger (it’s spelled like this) with a value c:\windows\system32\scvhost.exe, Delete this entry.

Look the location entry:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Window s NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon, in the entry named: SHELL, a value = Explorer.exe,SCVHOST.EXE. Edit this value, delete the SCVHOST.EXE only and the value must be Explorer.exe. Once you delete all this value, your computer will not login anymore.

OK we are now done.. Please Restart your PC now and Enjoy!!

    Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem just do as i say............

1.Firstly install a best anti-virus software in your computer like
    1.Nod32,
    2.Kaspersky,
    3.norton,
    4.AVG,
    5.Avast etc,..........

2.After installing any of those software open that software.

    3.And perform the scanning.

4.There you try to delete or clean the files.

5.If it is not possible to delete then clean it.

    6.Perform this step many types.

As you are saying that system file was affected by virus it is better to store your
personnel data data before affected by any virus.

And performing booting your system so all the virus will get deleted.

Re: How to remove a virus named “svchost.exe” from my windows 7 operating system enabled computer with the help of command prompt?

    Dear friend,

According to Microsoft, svchost.exe is not a virus.
This is a process that contains the services that are used by Windows to carry out various tasks. At the same time,
there can be running multiple instances of the same process, simultaneously.
During boot up, it list the files to be loaded during starting. If you delete this file by somehow, then after restarting the
computer, the file will appear again. You can also scan it with an updated anti-virus program.

So you need not worry about the svchost.exe file.

    Thanks!

actually svchost.exe is not a virus... to know more about svchost.exe read this

According to Microsoft: “svchost.exe is a generic host process name for services that run from dynamic-link libraries”.

Some time ago, Microsoft started moving all of the functionality from internal Windows services into .dll files instead of .exe files.
From a programming perspective this makes more sense for reusability… but the problem is that you can’t launch a .dll file directly from Windows, it has to be loaded up from a running executable (.exe).
Thus the svchost.exe process was born.

But there are few virus programs which run with this name, you can delete or remove those virus by using an efficient anti virus program.
My suggestion is to use Microsoft Security Essentials..
this program really works on it...
download it, install it. update it...

then it is time to celebrate.....
