I will help you solve your problem don't worry just follow my steps k.
1.Firstly make sure that you want to make your windows repaired or you want to install a new version of it k.
2.Now whatever may be the decision while starting your pc insert a windows XP Cd cd or dvd writer k.
3.Now while starting your pc just press delete button and check the system boot menu settings k.
4.Now after setting boot devices save them and restart k.
5.Now you will see an option to boot from Cd press any key then press any key to boot from cd k.
6.Now follow on screen instructions until you find two options that to repair your OS or install new OS by deleting the previous OS make a choice and then press on the option such that you are comfortable and follow on screen instructions k.

To repair the corrupted Windows XP you have to do as i say..
1.Firstly go to the start menu and then click on the 'run'.
2.Then in the command prompt type ''sfc /scannow" and then click enter.
3.By clicking on enter a dialog box will open.
4.Mainly you should insert the Windows XP CD.
5.Then your files will be scanned and repaired if necessary
It will take nearly 10-20 minutes.
That's it by doing as i said you can repair the corrupted files in Windows XP.

To repair the corrupted windows xp Do as i say..
We have to repair with the System file checker
Open command prompt From (Start-Run) .
Type and enter "sfc/scan now" (with out quotes but with the space).
Your files will then be scanned and repaired if necessary.
It may take 10 to 20 minutes depending on your system.
Unfortunately , in windows xp it is quite possible that sfc will first ask for your windows installation disk.
Most people only have a restore disk so it is necessary to take some rather involved steps before running SFC.
Even if you have an installation disk, it probably won’t work unless Service Pack 3 is on it.

First of all go and just on your computer and then click on the start menu tab ..And then type cmd in the run field..And then in the command prompt type ''sfc /scannow" and then click enter.Now By clicking on enter a dialog box will open.After that you should insert the Windows XP CD.Now at the end your files will be scanned and repaired if necessary..Now It will take nearly 10-20 minutes.

Repairing corrupted Windows XP can be done with some evasive steps.
Use sfc/scannow (System File Checker, an utility of Windows) from the command prompt.Itwill automatically fix problems untill fresh files are required. You need to provide original Windows Installation Disk at that point.
Use the Installation disk to REPAIR the existing Windows , boot from CD and select repair for that.
Third option can be a complete re installation , whichever you find suitable. back up data first.
