First of all close the running applications. Now click on "Start" button and type "Uninstall" in the search box. Click on "Uninstall a program" and then double click on "Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile". Select "Repair .NET Framework 4 Client Profile to its original state" and then click on "Next". Wait for sometime to complete the repair process. Once done, click on "Finish" and restart your computer. After a fresh restart, install the latest "Windows Updates". To do the same, click on "Start" button and type "Windows Update" in the search box. Finally click on "Windows Update".It will repair .Net Framework 4.

    Dear friend,
This is a known problem and it is quite difficult and hard to download a .net framework in windows 7.
Either you can reinstall the framework or visit http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/downl....aspx?id=30135 for the .net framework repair tool.
This is a very good software.
    Hope this helps.
