How to resolve issues with Active X controls when using RealPlayer on Windows Vista?

It is not possible to run RealPlayer app on my PC running on Windows Vista. Whenever I try to use the application, I get the error message saying “One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed” on the screen. The system says that either security settings prevent the Active X controls or blocked publisher for any controls. What is the way to fix up this issue?

First of all, make sure that there are no security programs prohibiting Active X controls. After that, locate the ‘Start’ button from the desktop and make a single click on it. Once you catch the sight of search box in start menu, type regedit into it. Then, click the regedit.exe from the available menu under ‘Programs’. This will open up Registry Editor on the system. Navigate into HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings\Zones\0 from the left pane of the editor. Go to the right pane afterwards and right click on 1200 for bringing up a short menu. Find ‘Modify’ from that menu and make a single click on it. After that, you need to type 1 or 0 into the Value data box after deleting the existing value. Press the ‘OK’ button afterwards and quit the ‘Registry Editor’. You can then launch the Real Player for checking the issue.
