    Dear guest,

Instead of a child lock you can have your videos hidden. Follow the following procedure.

    1. Copy your videos and save it in a different location
    2. Save it in a folder amongst other files so that its unlikely for the files to be hidden there.
    3. Select the files and right click over them.
    4. Select properties
    5. Check the check box "hidden".
    6. Your files will be hidden now.

    To unhide your files
    1. Go to the location of your saved files.
    2. Right click in the blank place.
    3. Select properties and check hidden.
    4. All the files will be hidden.
    5. Right click again and uncheck hidden and click apply.
    6. All files and your videos will be back.

    Thank you..

    hiii...
Firstly keep all those videos in one file which you dont want to get your child access.
Then keep in any of the drive and then right click on that drive, then select "Turn ON bitlocker".
Checkbox "Use a password to unlock this drive" and select a password and click next.
If you fear to forget the password, then in next step, select "save recovery key in a USB flash drive "
This option will help if you forgets the password.
Now press Next. Insert a USB drive and follow the instructions.
And yur data is safe now.

There are lot of ways to prevent your child from viewing those videos

    method 1
if your windows 7 OS is Ultimate version you can use BitLocker. Here you can lock an entire drive. just by right clicking on the drive and click "Turn ON BitLocker". this method is really safe and secure.

    method 2
keep all the videos in zip file and lock it

    method 3 ------>
for this method you need to follow simple steps
    > Go to the folde wher your videos are kept
    > Press Alt+T+O
    > Folder Options will be opened
    > Go to "View" tab at the top.
    > remove tick mark on "Hide Extensions for known files"
    Click OK

Now all your video files will be seen as videofilename.mp4 or videofilename.mpeg or videofilename.mkv, etc
Rename them as videofilename.doc or any other extension you know other than a video extension.
Now again press Alt+T+O > view tab> restore defaults > OK

    that's it my friend

whene ever some one tries to open it will not open. As you already know that it is video file .... you can right click on that file click Openwith and Choose Video player like VLC.

Among all the three 3rd method is a special method.

    Enjoy protecting your data.
