    you can solve this problem
    for simple access problems
1.right click on the file/folder that you want to access-and select the "sharing and security" menu option.if there is no option for security in this, or tne next tab- stop what you are doing now and reboot your computer into safe mode(by pressing F8 the moment that windowa starts to load)
2.once you're in the security tab for the file/folder that you're like to take ownership of,scroll down the list until you find the name of the account that you're currently using. Click on it once to highlight it. and then click on the "Advanced" button that's below the list of permissions
3.then click on the"Owner" tab. click on the name of the account that you're currently in. then ensure that the box labeled "Replace owner on sub-containers and object" is checked.
4.then click ok you've now taken ownership of this file/folder and anything below it in the directory structure..
    all d best...!

Make sure that you are the Administrator of your PC.
    >> Admin can perform all operations on Windows but any other user cannot do all operations or functions in Windows.

This problem may be raised in your PC due to infection by Virus like Trojan, Worms, etc.
    >> Virus has occupied access to your Windows and are not allowing you to use many programs.
    >> You will have to format your PC for complete eradication of Viruses.
    >> However, you may also use Antivirus for removal of Viruses.
    >> But they will also corrupt some of your System files.
    >> So, your system may not work properly even after removal of viruses.

Re: How to solve the "Access Denied Error" problem from my system files?

You have not mentioned us the OS which is running in your computer . So , I will provide you the instructions of only Windows 7 .
This problem arises in windows 7 either due to permission to open to file this mainly happens when their are more than one user in a computer or due to the Encryption of the file or folder . Now you can learn the procedures to see whether either of this is done on the file which is showing " Access is denied " :

    1) To Check the permissions of the file or of the folder the file is saved in you PC .
    - > Right-click the file or folder, and then click on " Properties " .
    - > Click on the " Security " tab.
    - > Now check under Group or user names , click your user name (or if only one user then on your PC name ) to see the permissions you have about that file .
Now , to open a file, you need to have read permission . See whether there is a tick point adjacent to " READ " option

    Attachment 4405

    2) Now if their is no problem with the above procedures then , check to see if the file is encrypted .

    - > Right-click on the file which is to showing " Access Denied Problem " , and then click on " Properties " .
    - > Click on the " General tab " , and followed by click on " Advanced " button .
    - > If the " Encrypt contents to secure data " check box is selected, you need the certificate that was used to encrypt the file to open it.

This are two major problems faced in windows 7 for the problem " ACCESS IS DENIED " .
