How to solve the typing issues with Windows Vista?

When I type anything through my HP Pavilion dv2550se Notebook running on Windows Vista, the cursor will jump to another line and continue to type the remaining text over there. This will happen after finishing either four or five words. What should I do to get rid of this issue?

Press the ‘Start’ button visible on the bottom left corner of the desktop after logging into your system. Once you can view the start menu, click the ‘Control Panel’ option available in it. This will bring up the ‘Control Panel’ window on the screen. Press the ‘Mouse’ icon available on this window. You can then find ‘Pointer Options’ option among the list visible on the screen. Click on that option and locate ‘hide pointer while typing’ option. After that, click on the checkbox next to this option until the check mark gets disappeared from it.
