How taskbar resizing is performed on Windows XP based Toshiba notebook?

The size set of the task bar currently used with my Windows XP based Toshiba notebook is not convenient. How can I resize the taskbar of the notebook such that it suits my usage?

The taskbar has to be first visited from the Windows XP based Toshiba notebook. The system’s taskbar edge has to be moved by making use of cursor. A double headed arrow symbol can be seen now on space of cursor. The rightness of the position can be analyzed by this symbol. Then the mouse button is supposed to be hit and held. Then it can be moved in either direction for adjusting the size. When it reaches the correct position, you can leave the fingers. This is how you can resize the taskbar of the notebook.

Taskbar Size can be adjusted in a jiffy.

Touch the top edge of tye taskbar with the mouse cursor, and it will show a two way arrow cursor.

Click and hold the mouse button from the edge and drag it above or sideways according to your convenience.

Release the mouse button once the expected taskbar location or shape is found.

Right click on the taskbar, from the menu you can control a number of features of the taskbar.
