Yes, there is a major correction made in this problem when the whole Explorer gets stuck in the middle, a special option is given to make the problem solved very fast, you just have to follow the following steps,
STEP 1: Press Ctrl + Alt + Esc if the Explorer gets freezed.
STEP 2: Select the Explorer in the list.
STEP 3: Click Restart and Windows 8 will take care the rest of the workings.
In this way it just easy to overcome the Explorer problem if any in the future.

Hey if the windows explorer get freezes try the following steps:-
1) Press alt+tab and other window will be open or you will be transferred to desktop now choose the explorer and restart it.
OR
Press ctrl+shift+Esc the windows task manager will be opened now select the explorer and right click on it and select "End task".
Now explorer will be closed.
