I am not able to boot up my Windows 7 laptop, it says “Error:Failed to load the Operating System”

Very recently I am facing the issue where there use to be no kind of problem in my Windows 7 laptop but now I am not able to boot up my laptop itself. Whenever I try to boot up I get the error message as “Error:Failed to load the Operating System”? Why I am getting this error? Is my Windows 7 corrupted? Anyway to fix this issue?

You are encountering the first deadly error in your computer system.
Try to press the F8 key while you will start the computer and from there if possible try to boot in safe mode.
If safe mode boot is successful then your system will be okay. Else, You will be required to reinstall the Operating Software again.
In your case the Bootstrap program seems not okay and actually three files, IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS, and COMMAND.COM are required which has all the codes, directives and commands written in them. If any one of them is corrupted the booting process will be halted, and in your case such a thing might have happend.
Try the steps suggested and see the result.

The problem "Error:Failed to load the Operating System" is caused because of the Windows Boot Files Missing (NTLDR/BOOT.MGR etc).
If you have a Recovery Drive in your Laptop created by the manufacturer then you don't need to worry because you can recover your OS from there. To do that Just Insert the OS disc and Select the Repair Your Computer Option in the Installation process.
If you don't have a Recovery Drive then you can even repair your OS from System Restore.
If the problem persists then Re-installation is the only option.

This problem occurs due to corrupted windows files. To solve this problem first you should have have the bootable windows disk or the windows bootable pendrive.
Insert it into the system and follow these steps:-
-First when system startup press del button continuously untill you bios setup appears.
-now go to boot devices and setup your pendrvie or your cd-rom as the primary boot device.
-now save and restart your system.
-your window setup start here and now choose the WINDOWS REPAIR option .
IT will repait your window and your problem will be solved.

hi friend.......this problem arises due to when the startup files corrupted.....


1. first restart your pc and press F8 ......then there is some options like........safe mode, networking mode...........etc


in that select safe mode........again if the same problem arises........restart again and press F8 then ....select last known good configuration...

If it works then .........open your windows ......restore your pc to resolve ......if also again the same problem arises


THEN THERE IS NO WAY TO..............DO THEN INSTALL OS....... THERE IS NO CHOICE.

Retore:

1. go to controll panel and select system and security>> backup and restore

2. and click on window recover system settings or computer

3. then click on open system restore and then click next and select file and click next then select drive and click FINISH

Insert The OS DVD in to ROM

and restart you SYSTEM

then go to the boot settings and .....select the first boot option

save settings by pressing F10 key and ....then PC will restarts automatically

then choose the AUTOMATIC REPAIR option

May be Operating System is not working properly..

It's a corrupted CD/DVD OS..

Boot file missing or file system missing..
